Andy Clover - mug shot Hi, I'm Andy... thanks for dropping by.

About me I'm a graphic designer, visual artist, art collector, curator and promoter primarily; I also write a little and have contributed to magazine and newspapers. After running a small, part-time gallery and event space called woom for about a year, and organising 4 shows, I curated my first large show called 'Culturally Routed' for the re-opening of the Refinery Artspace. Images from that show can be seen here.

Art promotion I'm interested in is promoting up and coming (or emerging, if you will) visual artists and illustrators, because it's pretty tough to make a go of it in this country, and I think it's really important that these people get their work out to market. So, if you're interested in purchasing original, contemporary New Zealand art, please contact me. It would be great to put you in touch with some of the very talented New Zealand artists that I have the privilege to know. A gallery will be coming soon...

I'm currently contracting most of my 9 to 5 time to 7 Design Secrets as their creative director, but I have some extra capacity for graphic design work, and a number of great sub-contractors, so if you are looking for graphic design, please contact me .

 Wellington artist Naomi Clements is the latest artist to join the range. I ran into Naomi in April 2008 in Wellington, where she was in the middle of putting up her solo show of paintings at Toi Poneke - the Wellington Arts Centre. I really liked her detailed interior scenes, they have this resonance with me, and I'm sure, many others, because you feel like it could be a little snapshot from your life that she has painted.
